1. Who We Are
The Borets Online service (borets.online) is owned and operated by Sole proprietor (FOP) Blazhko Yaroslav Oleksandrovych (Tax ID 3415001756, 9 Viktora Frenchka St., apt. 39, Kropyvnytskyi, 25030, Ukraine). We are the data controller under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection". This Policy is an integral part of the Public Offer.
2. What Data We Collect
When you register and use the Service, we collect:
- Account data: email address, password (stored hashed only) or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google, interface language, and the two-letter country code your IP address resolved to at sign-up (for example UA) — we keep it with your Account to know which countries our audience comes from.
- Usage data: which Lessons you watched and how far, the chosen audio track, Subscription status.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, request times — for security, protection of the video against unauthorised access and anonymised analytics.
- Payment data: we do NOT store card numbers, CVV or expiry dates. These are processed exclusively by the LiqPay payment system (JSC CB "PrivatBank"). From LiqPay we receive only the payment status, amount, order and transaction identifiers, and the card mask (first 6 and last 4 digits), issuing bank and card country.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data to:
- provide the Services under the Public Offer — sign you in to your Account, check that your Subscription is active and play the Lesson videos;
- process payments and automatic renewals via LiqPay;
- keep your preferences: interface language, audio track, viewing progress;
- send service emails: registration confirmation, password reset, receipts, notices about a failed charge or a change of terms. News about new Lessons is sent only with your separate consent;
- improve the Service based on anonymised statistics;
- comply with legal requirements, including tax and accounting rules.
5. How Long We Keep Data
Account data and viewing history — while the Account exists. When the Account is deleted, we erase the email address, name, country and viewing history straight away; the Subscription and payment records stay, but without your email address or name.
Payment data (amounts, transaction identifiers, card mask) — 5 years for accounting purposes. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider (Vercel) for as long as its plan retains them — currently hours, not months; we keep no copy of our own.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- obtain information about the personal data we process about you, and a copy of it;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- delete your Account yourself — “Account → Delete account” in your cabinet — or ask us to do it: we cancel the Subscription, close access and erase your email address, name, country and viewing history, keeping only the payment records accounting law requires us to keep (section 5);
- withdraw consent to processing — this ends your ability to use the Service;
- file a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 7 days in advance. The current version is always available at borets.online/privacy.
